The neighbour of a work colleague had her patio re-done in concrete (got fed-up of clearing out the dirt and stuff that fell down between the decking she had into the space underneath, apparently)
She picked this sparkly pinky lilac effect (looks like expensive lino with glimmerly bits in it like glitter)/ I saw it the other week in gloomy overcast November - not only does it still look pristine (it's been in a otu a year and a half) but it was shimmery and sparkly despite it beeing a dull overcast day and the rest of the garden beieng pretty much dead-and-prepared-for-winter.
It's a bit Barbie-doll for my liking, but she said they were offered hundreds of options for the finish.
