Your most recent post set me to thinking, so the latest update to the In-Debt Net is based upon it. It was something that really reverberated with me, and has got me thinking a lot in the last day or so. So, here's the update:

Contracting Out Your Life (Anyone Want a Job?)

Lest anyone worry that I might be having a go at Tattercoats before they read the article, please do not - the post supports her thinking entirely and suggests expanding upon it, in fact :-)

For anyone who reads this LJ but has been avoiding my new blog The In-Debt Net, and could do with a little extra money, there is also a small job offer over there...

I'm not the world's greatest graphics genius but I can tart up existing images fairly plausibly - I'm willing to have a go if you like?

Well, you've got a good eye - I've seen that from some of your graphics posts.

Do you want to have a crack at one and see how you feel about it? - the pictures truly are very uninspiring... If you think that silk-purse-from-sow's-ear is up your street after that, I'll bung the rest over :-)

What email would be best for you to receive large image files?

Did you send me anything? Nothing's turned up yet and I'm wondering if the mailserver ate it...

Graphics I'm not all that good at, but silk purses from sow's ears... I think it was the last lot of Strongoak taxes I paid in person. I explained to His Majesty that Strongoak was starting a new pig-based manufacturing trade, and presented him with a silk purse with the Far Isles arms bead-worked on to it. Inside, I told him, was a sample of the raw materials. You know you can get things for dogs to chew on? Yep. Pig's ear. You can use any part of a pig except for the Oink, and we'll have to train the Strongoak ones to Oink in tune so as to get round that bit of wastage.
