The Gasworks Bar, Bradford is a *great* rock venue - big, airy stage with lighting, fans (of both kinds) and a kick-ass sound engineer who knew his PA very well.

We did a 2 hour, straight through set, which we all felt worked well. Most venues want 2x45min/1hr sets, but this one wanted 2 hours, straight through, which meant a bit of reworking for our normal set lists. The advantage of this is that once the energy got up, it stayed up and rocked for the full 2 hours.

I don't know what the capacity of the club is, but it is certainly multiples of a hundred (400-500?I'm guessing here) And it was *full*. Including the wonderful Chris down front, wearing a Stevie Nicks tour shirt and a button which said "No. 1 Nicks fan". I might argue with him on his qualifications for it (I'm pretty damn rabid about Ms. Nicks myself), but he stayed down the front, with a whole gang of people who all knew every single word (even to the slightly obscure songs)and had a wonderful night. We had two Nicks Lookalikes (beautiful ladies!) and a club FULL of people really up for a good night out.

We rocked.

We debuted "Edge of Seventeen" and "I Don't Want to Know". "EoS" was notably blistering, and I enjoyed every second of it :-) Can't wait to do it again.

Looking forwards to seeing the DVD that was made of the show, too!

What a great evening - thanks to Max and the Gasworks Bar for a fabulous evening!
