Jared's at school. Ellie's at pre-school (until midday). I could:

1. Clean the house.
2. Sit down with some crochet*.
3. Do some music.

I'm a little music'd out at the mo, thanks to this weekend, so will give that a miss. The house is messy. If I do an hour of housecleaning, then I could have an hour of crochet with absolutely no guilt though...

Yup, cleaning, then crafts!

*For the curious amongst you, I am trying out the sock pattern that Talis found at Grafton Fibres. I have some lovely variegated blue/green doubleknit, and some jolly chilly feet...

You are so good - my housework has taken a backseat to the sewing recently. Hence I have a very messy house currently. Once the bed hangings are finished I must do something about that!!

Relearning how to crochet (and to knit) are on my list of "things I want to do when I have some spare time", with socks being a definite option. Unfortunately, this currently means "possibly in a decade or so". I'll just have to get used to cold feet ;-)

(Although at the moment I am wearing my lovely new BOOTS, and so my feet are feeling all snuggled :-)

I never got the hang of crochet and my knitting is so slow it's positively glacial.

You may well re-learn to do both before I get any of my unfinished knitting projects done

Best of british with the socks, Stevieannie!

I have succumbed to the lure of the fluffy scarf, and am now knittign that as well as crocheting socks as well as finishing the brown knitted jumper as well as patchwork. But that's OK - they all cycle round and have their turn again.

I am more than happy to show folks how to crochet when we're in the same place. I have however learned that some people find it easy and others REALLY hard, and there's no rhyme or reason in which is which.

Oh, and well done, Stevieannie, for grabbing a bit of you-time! Make it a habit, hey?

That sounds like a really good way to get yuckies done with a lovely warm carrot at the end. I'm knitting socks right now. (lists of people who are waiting [livejournal.com profile] catmcroy at the top)
