HALLELUJAH!!! A NICE DAY!!!!!!!
Jan. 17th, 2010 03:48 pm I think I'm in shock. I woke up this morning to a strange light quality in the bedroom. It must have taken me a good 30 seconds to realise that it was sunshine. It's been quite a long time since I saw sunshine, and it was *lovely*.
We've been to the new house to show the children their new rooms which have just been studded out, and I had a look at the sorry excuse of my allotment from the bedroom window. Oh dear. Time for a Not So New Year Resolution: this year is the year that I'm going to get on top of it.
I've taken some photos to remind me how dreadful it currently looks, and I will be attempting to sort it all out this spring.
We've also made some plans for the new house garden, which is quite exciting, but may require a fair amount of landscaping... All in good time!
