What I did last week, I suppose
Oct. 2nd, 2007 10:52 amI went on a Marketing Course (specifically Marketing for the Arts) last Thursday. Lots and lots of really useful stuff, so I've decided to write it up at In-Debt Net.
All I need now is some free time in which to roll out all of these ideas, particularly since I am partnering a non-filk friend in a musical endeavour which started serious work last night. Can't say much about it until the kinks are ironed out and the website is live, but it's a pretty exciting concept, potentially very lucrative, and it means working with someone whom I really admire, but have never worked with before.
Very exciting stuff!
This weekend was taken up in the most pleasant way possible by a visit from Rob and Janet, who came, gamed, took us out for a meal and were generally the nicest possible company from beginning to end. What a fabulous way to spend a couple of days :-) I even got to forcefeed them my sausage and egg breakfast casserole along with pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. I'm always happy when feeding others :-D
Today's venture is talking to Yet More Estate Agents about potentially selling the cottage. If only we could find someone who will talk honestly to us, rather than trying to spin all the information. I'd far rather someone said, "Nope, not a rat's chance of selling that!", than all the usual gumph we get. *sigh*
Ah well, onwards and upwards!
