Back from Holiday
Aug. 18th, 2007 07:06 amThe quick story: been to Scotland on holiday. Had a lovely time. Discovered midges. Now quite tired.
Pants not entirely bankrupt as I've managed to skim the F-list and I think I've picked up anything important.
Glad to be home, even if the weather is a bit rubbish. (It was a bit rubbish on holiday too - apparently it rains a lot in Scotland - who knew???).
Holiday highlights involved bicycling through lots of forest and woodland glens, walking up a mountain, and visiting the Crannog Centre (for the uninitiated, a Crannog is a sort of iron age inhabitable pier with a round house on it, situated on a loch). We did lots of other stuff, but those were my favourites.
Very happy to come back to lots of booking enquiries for the cottage. Yay!
