Oh, so NOW it's raining, huh?

As most of the people I know up here predicted, the papers and tv are full of how appalling the rain is, and how many hundreds of homes got flooded. The media is *full* of how awful it is that roads got flooded and people got stuck on motorways.

Actually, this isn't news. It happened in the Midlands and North of England weeks ago. It is still happening.

But apparently it doesn't really happen if it doesn't happen to London.
