Music, music everywhere.
Nov. 17th, 2006 01:03 pmWell, tonight we're gigging with FFM. We've got another two FFM gigs next month.
We've also got together with Liam and Frank to do some carol singing, and started rehearsing last night. I've been relegated to "soprano", so may need to pull in Jared to help bolster me :-) The four of us noted a passing vocal harmony resemblance to a certain 60's revival folk quartet, so have temporarily named ourselves "Baggsy Not Norma". BNN have already been booked to play at the Lincoln Christmas Market, we're going to do some busking in the tourist area, and Tim took a booking from the local pub today. We've also been asked to do a folk evening later this month at the pub as well.
We're also pitching at the two local Farmer's Markets for BNN, as well as my local organic centre and the Museum of Lincolnshire Life.
Blimey. So much for wanting a quiet life. I think I may need to start getting ready for Christmas earlier than previously thought!
